Meeting Minutes

American Legion Riders Post 327
March  16,  2017

The March 16, 2017 meeting of the Post 327 American Legion Riders was called to order by the Director Keith DeLucenay at 1835. Members conducted the Pledge of Allegiance.

1. PRAYER: None.

2. MINUTES: The minutes from the last meeting are posted on the webpage.

3. TREASURY REPORT: The Treasurer, David Seate, read the Treasurers report. Beginning balance of $3,315.33 and an ending Balance of $2,781.05. The Treasurers report was approved as read.

4. NEW MEMBERS, GUESTS: None

5. GUEST SPEAKER: No guest speaker


6. OLD BUSINESS:
a. St. Patricks Day Parade, Saturday March 18. KSU 0800 from the Legion
b. Rolling Thunder, May 27 return on May 29. Still unsure who wants to go. Need to find hotels

7. BREAK: Short break was observed.

8. NEW BUSINESS:
a. Voted to pay for two months of lawn care for our sponsored elderly veteran. $40 per week, total of $360. We will go month by month after that. Lawn care will start in April.
b. Raffle tickets for a Mossberg 500 shotgun are available fo $5 each or 5 for $20. 500 total tickets.
c. April 1, Ride for Warriors 1000 to 1400.
d. April 8, VFW poker run. Starts and ends at VFW 3160. First bike out at 10000. Meet at the VFW at 0900.
e. Talked about escorting the wall in April. More details to come.

9. SAFETY BRIEF: No safety brief was conducted

10. RAFFLE DRAWING: No raffle drawing.

11. The next meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2017 at 1830. Meeting adjourned at .
